Format of the Workshop:

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: I will be diving deep into Vata dosha and how various lifestyle and food choices can bring relaxation to the nervous system and the rest of our bodies. I will also be talking about the qualities of fall and what seasonal foods, herbs, and lifestyle activities will support your immune system going into winter.

9:30 AM - 9:40 AM: I will answer questions and we will prepare an herbal tea together that brings balance to Vata

9:40 AM - 9:45 AM: Break to get ready to transition into the cooking portion

9:45 AM - 10:45 AM: Cook together - You will get a detailed recipe prior to the workshop so you can get the ingredients

  • Learn how to cook a meal + prepare an herbal tea with ease that’s yummy and nourishing 

  • I will give tips on how to strengthen digestive fire going into fall and winter

  • Learn how to balance Vata dosha - Vata governs the nervous system and all movement in the body.

  • Learn about what tastes bring balance to Vata and how they can be incorporated into a dish
